  • ShodhGanga: TheShodhganga@INFLIBNET Centre provides a platform for research students to deposit their Ph.D. theses and make it available to the entire scholarly community in open access. The repository has the ability to capture, index, store, disseminate and preserve ETDs submitted by the researchers.

  • Panjab University:  The department participates in various national and international research initiatives and also hosts various conferences, seminars, meetings etc. of research interest regularly. The department has an 11-inch telescope to encourage/inculcate the scientific temper among public and with particular emphasis on college and school students.

  • DART-Europe E-theses: DART-Europe is a partnership of research libraries and library consortia who are working together to improve global access to European research theses.

  • DIVA: This portal provides access to ETDs and research publications written at 26 institutions in Scandinavia.

  • Georgia State University: The ScholarWorks @ Georgia State University also showcases: journal articles, book chapters, books, conference proceedings and presentations, working papers and pre-prints, technical reports, images, videos, audio files, and more. ScholarWorks @ Georgia State University also has e-publishing capabilities for open access journals and can organize and preserve GSU hosted conferences.


  • MCMaster University: Digital Commons is a service provided by McMaster University libraries, in conjunction with other campus partners. The research and scholarly output included in Digital Commons has been selected and deposited by the individual university departments and centres on campus. IRs are an excellent vehicle for working papers or copies of published articles and conference papers. Presentations, senior theses, and other works not published elsewhere can also be published in the IR.

  • MIT E-Theses: MIT's DSpace contains more than 40,000 theses completed at MIT dating as far back as the mid 1800's. Theses in this collection have been scanned by Document Services or submitted in electronic format by thesis authors. Since 2004 all new Masters and Ph.D. theses will be scanned and will be added to this collection after degrees are awarded.

  • Opendepot.org: Is to ensure that all academics worldwide can share in the benefits of making their research output Open Access. For those whose universities and organisations have an online repository, OpenDepot.org makes them easy to find. For those without a local repository, including unaffilitiated researchers, the OpenDepot is a place of deposit, available for others to harvest.

  • PQDT OPEN: PQDT Open provides the full text of open access dissertations and theses free of charge.You can quickly and easily locate dissertations and theses relevant to your discipline, and view the complete text in PDF format.


  • University of californiya: University of California Santa Cruz to encourage the distribution of all theses and dissertations. Electronic copies of all UCSC theses and dissertations will be routed to the University Library. The Library will preserve and make accessible to the public all theses and dissertations in accordance with Library policies and best practices. Such access includes, but is not limited to online access to the public through platforms such eScholarship, the University of California‚Äôs open access institutional repository.

  • University of Nebraska - Lincoln: Collected here are "open-access" versions of theses and dissertations from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Education and Human Sciences. All materials are copyright by their original authors/creators.
  • UCL Theses: UCL Discovery showcases UCL's research publications, giving access to journal articles, book chapters, conference proceedings, digital web resources, theses and much more, from all UCL disciplines. Where copyright permissions allow, a full copy of each research publication is directly available from UCL Discovery. 

  • Virginia Techworks: VTechWorks is the Virginia Tech institutional repository, managed by the University Libraries. Its purpose is to highlight, preserve, and provide unrestricted access to the work of faculty, staff, and students, as well as the intellectual output of the university in its land-grant mission to serve the Commonwealth of Virginia, the nation, and the world community through the discovery and dissemination of new knowledge.
